About Mandy

Instructor at Cottonwood Creek Ranch LLC

For the last 20 years Mandy has been an instructor and riding camps director for one of the area largest stables in the Oklahoma City and Edmond areas. Many of her former students have gone on to become national championship riders particularly in connection with Peggy Richardson Stables.
Mandy is kind and has unlimited patience with both her riders and horses. She is loves animals of all kinds and is an important part of Cottonwood Creek Ranch LLC.

In the early years she was a student of the well known USEF Judge and Steward, Fern Palmer Bittner (retired) who also ran the horsemanship program at Lindenwood College, St Charles, Missouri where she received a Bachelors Degree and a Lifetime Missouri Teaching Certificate. A focus on Hunt Seat riding was completed, a course at Escuela Ecuestre SMA, S.A., San Miguel De Allende GTO., Mexico and study with well know trainer Chuck Esau in private lessons in St. Louis .

After college Mandy began her career as western instructor at Camp Waldemar Hunt,Texas. During the school year she ran a small lesson program in Oklahoma City. For a couple of years Mandy trained horses for friends in Kansas City before returning to Oklahoma City and beginning her association with Peggy Richardson Stables.

Mandy now teaches Hunt Seat, Western and Saddle Seat here at Cottonwood Creek Ranch LLC. Lessons are available after school and on Saturdays and Summer Camps are added to the mix during Summer School break as well.
